Our undergraduate programmes welcome qualified applicants from diverse educational backgrounds who are ready to pursue a recognised university degree.
100 Level Admission
For applicants beginning their first university degree after completing the required secondary school qualifications.
Direct Entry Admission
For applicants with recognised qualifications such as ND, HND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, or equivalent who wish to continue their undergraduate education.
International Applicants
Qualified international applicants who meet the University's admission requirements are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Entry Requirements
To be considered for undergraduate admission, applicants should meet the University's general entry requirements together with any programme-specific requirements.
1. General Requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects.
- English Language is compulsory.
- Mathematics is required for most programmes.
- Results from WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB are accepted.
- Results may be obtained in not more than two sittings, where applicable.
- Additional requirements may apply depending on your chosen programme.
JAMB/UTME is not required before applying. Successful applicants will receive guidance on JAMB regularisation and other statutory requirements where applicable.

Al-Muhibbah Open University offers three undergraduate admission intakes each year, giving you the flexibility to start your degree at the time that best suits your plans.

Do I need a JAMB/UTME result before applying?
No. You can apply for undergraduate admission without submitting a JAMB/UTME result. Where applicable, successful applicants will receive guidance on JAMB regularisation as part of the admission process.
Can I combine two O'Level results?
Yes. Applicants may combine O’Level results obtained in not more than two sittings, provided they meet the admission requirements for their chosen programme.
Which examination bodies are accepted?
We accept recognised O’Level qualifications from WAEC, NECO, GCE, and NABTEB, subject to the University’s admission requirements.
Can I apply through Direct Entry?
Yes. Applicants with recognised qualifications such as ND, HND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, or equivalent may apply through Direct Entry, subject to the University’s admission requirements.
