Yes. Al-Muhibbah Open University is licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to operate as an Open and Distance Learning university in Nigeria. Our programmes are delivered in accordance with approved academic standards and quality assurance requirements.
Can I study entirely online?
Yes. Our programmes are delivered through a modern digital learning environment, allowing you to access lectures, learning resources, assessments, and student support from anywhere.
Who can apply to study at Al-Muhibbah Open University?
Applicants who meet the admission requirements for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Inter-University Transfer admission are welcome to apply.
How do I know which admission pathway is right for me?
Choose Undergraduate Admission if you’re applying for your first degree, Postgraduate Admission if you already hold a recognised degree and wish to continue your education, or Inter-University Transfer if you plan to transfer from another recognised university.
How are assignments, tests, and examinations conducted?
Assignments, quizzes, and assessments are completed through the University’s digital learning platform. Examination arrangements are communicated to students in accordance with University and regulatory requirements.
Can I pause my studies and continue at a later time?
Yes. Students who need to temporarily suspend their studies may apply in accordance with the University’s academic policies. Our Student Affairs team is available to provide guidance throughout the process.
