Born on 14th February 1976, Dr. Murtala Yusuf Fourtyfour, PhD, CNA, FCFA, ACTI is the current Bursar, Al-Muhibbah Open University, Abuja. He is a Professional Accountant with over fifteen years cognate experience in the field of Accounting and Finance.

Dr. Fortyfour holds the following qualifications: PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bakhtalruda, Sudan; Masters in Islamic Banking and Finance, Bayero University, Kano in 2021; Master of Science in Accounting and Finance, University of Salford, Manchester, UK in 2019; Master of Business Administration, University of Maiduguri, 2004. He also holds the following professional qualification: CAN (2007), ACTI (2014), FCFA (2016)..

He joined the academia and was appointed the pioneer Head of Department of Accounting at the Taraba State University, Jalingo. He rose to become a Senior Lecturer in the department. He visited various universities across the country as a resource person. He also the Chief Consultant of Fourtyfour Global Concepts, a professional Accounting and Audit firm that renders a variety of financial services. He is a dedicated Professional with extensive experience in preparing and maintaining cash-flow analysis, analyzing financial statements, preparing year-end books for audit, and ensuring strict adherence to standard procedures and compliance.

He is happily married to two wives and blessed with children.
