About Program
BSc. Public Health is a program focused on promoting and protecting the health of communities and populations. Students will study epidemiology, health policy, environmental health, and community health education. This course equips individuals with the tools to assess and address public health challenges, implement preventive measures, and contribute to the overall well-being of diverse populations. Graduates will be prepared to work in public health agencies, NGOs, and government organizations to improve health outcomes at the community and societal levels.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The minimum admission requirements to study Bsc. Public Health in Al-Muhibbah Open University is:
- 100 Level:
- Five ‘O’ level credits (WASCE, NECO, GCE or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics.
- 200 Level (Direct Entry):
- Community Health Officer Training Certificate (CHO),
- Environmental Health Officer
- National Certificate in Education (NCE) (Physical /Health Education, Science Education Nutrition & Home Economics with a minimum of merit pass)
- Health Superintendent
- Associate Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences (AIMLS)
- Science Laboratory Technologist (SLT) (HND lower credit)
- Food Science
- Pharmacy technician
- Medical Laboratory Technician
- Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW)
